The Psycho Nitro blast, famous for massive entry counts, 24h of practice, and barely any actual race time on track, has made the decision to tilt the playing field even more in their favor, by eliminating the racing all together.
“It’s almost too easy these days, racers just don’t demand anything of us” Dave Leikam said, owner of the Race Time Entertainment franchise.
The 2019 PNB will see 3 days of non stop open practice, after which everyone will receive a plaque and a high five.
Leikam goes on to explain that this way no race director is needed, and he only needs to build a track. This saves money. If the PNB experiment is a success, Race Time Entertainment will expand the 72h free practice program to all it’s other events in 2020.
