RCGP, the ambitious project claiming to change RC racing for the better, has unsurprisingly hit some head wind with low turnouts in the RC2 class. In Fehring, for the second round of the series, the RC2 class had only 30% of the entry filled by active racers, and 70% filled by local school children, new to RC racing. The school was recruited after word came out, that existing racers were not interested in supporting the venture.
A spokesperson for RCGP mentioned to RCNews UnLtd, that the industry is in a difficult situation. After years of moaning and complaining, it would now be possible to do things differently, but that it is more convenient to complain about one of the founders being an ass-hat.
